HISTORY
Team History
In July of 2007 we teamed up for the last few world tour events. Things started off strong in Marseille with a tough match with the number 2 seeded Chinese pair of Zhou/Li who went on to finish 5th in the event and have already qualified for 2008 Olympics. Next in the FIVB Challenger in Cyprus we knocked off the team of Kufa – Rotrekl to qualify for the main draw where we went on to finish 9th. Kufa - Rotrekl qualified for the European Championships in Valencia. Finishing off the year in Aland, Finland we just missed the main draw after losing to the Italian team of Amore/Bizzotto

I grew up a few minutes from Wimbledon and had aspirations of playing in the final on the Stadium court. I still have dreams of playing in the finals on Sunday but the arena has changed slightly. When I was 10 my parents and I moved to Florida. We lived quite close to the beach and I started to spend more and more time there. When I was fifteen I played my first beach volleyball tournament and ever since I've been hooked. After playing indoor volleyball briefly for University of New Haven, CT, USA. I started to focus on playing beach volleyball. I worked my way through the Florida tours and on to the AVP Crocs tour. Between 02' and 07' I won over 60 tournaments along the Eastern Seaboard and in 06' finished in the top 25 on the AVP Crocs tour. My partner, Mike DiPierro and I had multiple victories against top ten teams on the AVP. We also had 20 other tournament victories in a row through 06' and 07'.In 2007 I was offered the opportunity to train with the British Olympic Beach team and compete on the FIVB World Tour. I am now training in Bath and I’m really excited about the upcoming 08 season.

I started playing volleyball at the age of 16 for Wessex Volleyball Club who are based in Poole, England. I continued through their junior system until the age of 18 and represented the Club at the National Finals in 1997 – 2000. During this time I was also selected to play for the England Junior National team, where I earned 14 caps, and played in the Junior European Championship Qualifier. In 2001 after graduating from junior volleyball, I began to train with the Senior National team and played in the National League Division 1.
At the same time I began training with the Beach Development Squad, after 6 months I represented England at the U23 European Championships in Portugal. The following year I played in the U21 World Championships in Italy.
During 2004 and 2005 I won the British championships with my then partner Jody Gooding. 2005 also saw me spend 3 months in Southern California for pre-season training. In 2006 I decided to move to California to continue my volleyball training, whilst there I played on the Californian Beach Volleyball tour, and on the EVP tour, winning the event in Hawaii. In January 2007, I moved back to England to train full time as part of the British Olympic Beach Volleyball Squad with the aim of qualifying for the 2012 Olympics. 2007 saw me competing internationally on the Beach Volleyball circuit where I played 2 CEV tournaments, 3 FIVB World Tour events and 2 FIVB challenger events. Qualifying for the Main Draw Event in Cyprus. In 2008 I have a full international calendar and my aim is to qualify for as many main draws as possible.
